Subacute Unit

Our Kindred Hospital Hollywood Subacute Unit is located within Kindred Hospital South Florida – Hollywood on the second floor.

Treatment within our Subacute Unit may be right for you or a loved one if you require short-term comprehensive inpatient medical care and rehabilitation. Most often, we care for those with a short-term illness, injury or worsening disease who do not need the medical care provided in a hospital but are not yet healthy enough to return home.

By having the capabilities of the Subacute Unit within our hospital, we can ensure you have access to the clinical services and rehabilitation you need seven days a week. The focus is on your physical and functional improvement to help you achieve maximum independence in your daily activities.
