Visitor Information

Visiting Hours

We ask that visitors arrive after 11 a.m. so our team members can complete their morning round of care in the most efficient manner. Visiting hours end at 8 p.m. If you have any special needs or requests related to visitation, please speak to the Nursing Supervisor. In response to COVID precautions, children under 18 years old are not permitted to visit without prior approval of the nursing supervisor.

Visitation for loved ones in the ICU will be structured around their physician’s recommendations based on their condition.

PLEASE NOTE: Given the rise in COVID cases, visiting hours are always subject to change. Please dial our Visitor Line (813) 424-5490 for up-to-date visiting changes.

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria is located to the left of the main entrance of the hospital. We provide a full-course lunch from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Vending machines provide snacks and drinks around the clock and are located in the parking lot entrance.

Parking and Security

Free visitor parking is provided in a gated area 24 hours a day. While we strive to provide security for all areas of the hospital, we cannot be responsible for loss, damage, fire or theft of any vehicle parked on the hospital property.

Because the safety of you and your loved ones is important to us, we strive to make our facility as safe as possible; therefore, our entrances are locked at 6 p.m., but you may use the Coachman Avenue patio entrance if you are visiting after 6 p.m.

Smoking Policy

To promote a healthier environment, we do not allow smoking on the hospital grounds.

Grievances

Our goal is to ensure a high-quality care experience for you and your loved ones. Please report any issues to our Patient Relations Representative or the Nursing Supervisor. If your concern continues, please contact Administration to complete the formal grievance procedure.

Gifts and Gratuities

Although our team members are not allowed to accept gifts and gratuities, we certainly appreciate your kind words. If you would like to write a letter of thanks to be posted prominently within the hospital, please give it to your loved one’s Patient Representative or Nursing Supervisor.
